Community
In addition to building software solutions for our clients, we believe in building our community. To that end we have spearheaded a couple initiatives aimed at building Minnesota’s technology and design communities.
Minnesota’s barcamp event, minnēbar is highly regarded as a great tech/design event and represents one of the largest events of its kind in the world. From its sessions and talks have sprung many initiatives and start-ups in the Midwest. Minnēbar is supported by Refactr and organized by Refactr’s own Ben Edwards.
The Groovy Users of Minnesota get together and share experiences, techniques, and knowledge to strengthen the rapid software development crowd here in Minnesota. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at our office in NE.
The Ruby Users of Minnesota also meet at our offices on the last Monday of each month.
